Renewed Optimism and Development Exhibited at glasstec 2014

Things are looking up for the worldwide glass industry, as an optimistic outlook and overall mood permeated the show floor during glasstec 2014, held Oct. 21-24 in Düsseldorf, Germany. glasstec 2014 indicated positive market developments after several years of a sluggish North American and worldwide economy.

AAMA Western Region Eyes Energy Efficiency in California
Energy efficiency and net zero design topped discussions during the Western Region meeting for the American Architectural Manufacturers Association. Driven by stringent energy performance requirements outlined in California’s Title 24 Building Code, and legislative goals for emissions, the state is at the forefront of energy-efficient building performance and design.
