The Fight for Profit in an Owners' Market

Despite increases in sales and bid levels, glaziers report that the construction market continues to be wrought with many of the same challenges that plagued companies throughout the recession. Competition remains high, and low bidders still manage to drive down profit margins. That, combined with higher material, fuel and labor costs, has many contract glaziers struggling to increase profits, even in the midst of higher sales volumes.
