NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO BUSH FAMILY
ON THE PASSING OF BARBARA BUSH

WASHINGTON – National Right to Life, the federation of state right-to-life affiliates and more than 3,000 local chapters, extends its deepest condolences to President George H.W. Bush, and the entire Bush family, on the death of former first lady, Barbara Pierce Bush, who died last night at her home in Houston.
 
The following statement may be attributed to National Right to Life President Carol Tobias:

National Right to Life, together with our state affiliates and local chapters, extends our deepest sympathies to former president George H.W. Bush on the death of Barbara Bush, his beloved wife of 73 years, and to the entire Bush family on the loss of their matriarch. Mrs. Bush was an outspoken cheerleader for her husband and her children, and that unwavering support undoubtedly is providing a source of strength for her entire family. We pray that President Bush and his family find peace and comfort.
